2007 Late Harvest Riesling
Vintage 2007: Weather was very favorable leading up to the 2007 harvest. Early warm weather was leading the way to an early harvest. However the weather changed and became unseasonably cool resulting in great white wines with high levels of acidity and flavors. Red varietals had high sugar levels but flavors were delayed in maturing until towards the end of the harvest.
Tank fermented. Pineapple, apricot and lime aroms coupled with some honey on the finish. A residual sugar of 7.42% balances nicely with the acidity leaving a crisp finish.
