New Release for Red Wine and Chocolate –  Roza Ridge 2019 Saperavi

The Saperavi variety is one of the most ancient wine grapes, originating from the Caucasus region of Europe. It is not a common grape here in the US, yet. This rich opulent has intense fruit and deep floral aromas with flavors of blackberry, plum and anise (licorice). The firm tannins and good acidity pair well with rich foods like meaty stuffed pasta or venison with sautéed mushrooms, shallots and crushed pepper. Savory meals high in umami pair wonderfully with this ancient varietal wine.

Appellation Day – March 19th

Join us on this important day to celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the Rattlesnake Hills AVA.  At Bonair Winery, Father Gail will read his proclamation at 2:00pm which chases out and banishes all rattlesnakes for the coming year. The miracle of the wine will follow. Learn more
