2012 Riesling

2012 Riesling

2012 Riesling

Appellation: Rattlesnake Hills

The 2012 Vintage: 2012 wines are going to be fantastic: growing season started out warm and stayed that way, ensuring even ripening for a very fine harvest and we actually picked a little ahead of schedule! Unlike the problematic 2011 harvest, this will be one we remember for abundant fruit and great displays of varietal character.

The Wine: Crisp, clean finish with nice aromas. Good sugar/acid balance delivers tasty, classic Washington State Riesling abundant with multiple stone-fruit flavors.

Food Matches: Asian cuisine, soft white cheeses, lightlysauced fowl and as a delicious aperitif anytime.
Descriptors: Sweet fruity nose, enticing flavors of peach and apricot. A beautiful display of what Riesling can do in Washington State.
